- Sperm Count: Refers to the amount of sperm present in semen
- Sperm Motility: Refers to how efficiently sperm can move through the cervical mucus. After intercourse or insemination, healthy sperm moves forward at a particular speed. In some cases, sperm may have poorer motility, which may challenge their ability to reach the cervix and egg.
- If sperm have low motility they may encounter difficulty swimming through the cervical mucus and the vaginal canal to reach the cervix on their own.
- Everyone’s fertility journey is unique. If you are having trouble conceiving or have additional questions, please talk to your healthcare provider to assess if our conception aids and tools are right for you.
