CAUTION: Never use abrasive cleaning agents, thinners or benzene for cleaning and never immerse the device in water or other cleaning liquids.
Scenario 1: Small droplets can collect on the mesh plate during or between consecutive uses. This can temporarily reduce airflow until the droplets fall off or dry.
- Solution 1: Gently shake the nebulizer while keeping it on. Once the droplets are cleared or have dried, the flow will improve.
- Solution 2: Carefully wipe the mesh plate with a lint-free cloth to remove any droplets. Once dry, the flow should return to normal.
- Solution 3: Run the nebulizer with 5-10 ml of hot water (85C / 185F) for 2-3 minutes and let it fully dry, especially the mesh plate. Repeat as needed.
Scenario 2: If the nebulizer isn’t cleaned after each use, minerals from the liquid can build up on the mesh plate, which may appear as white or yellow stains. This buildup will slow the flow over time.
- Solution 1: Run a cleaning cycle according to the instructions for use (IFU). Repeat if necessary.
- Solution 2: Gently wipe the mesh plate with a damp, lint-free cloth to remove any mineral buildup. After cleaning, run with 5-10 ml of hot water (85C / 185F) for 2-3 minutes and let it fully dry before use.
