CAUTION: Never use abrasive cleaning agents, thinners or benzene for cleaning and never immerse the device in water or other cleaning liquids.
Scenario 1: Small droplets can collect on the mesh plate, blocking mist flow during use or between consecutive uses. This can also happen if the device is used right after cleaning and the mesh plate hasn’t fully dried.
- Solution 1: Gently shake the nebulizer while keeping it on to clear the droplets. The flow will resume once the droplets are gone.
- Solution 2: Turn off the nebulizer, then gently wipe the mesh plate with a lint-free cloth to remove any droplets. Repeat as needed.
- Solution 3: Run the nebulizer with 5-10 ml of hot water (85C / 185F) for 2-3 minutes and let it fully dry, especially the mesh plate. Repeat as needed.
Scenario 2: If the nebulizer isn’t cleaned regularly, minerals may build up on the mesh, causing blockages. These may appear as white or yellow stains.
- Solution 1: Run the nebulizer with 5-10 ml of hot water (85C / 185F) for 2-3 minutes to remove buildup. Repeat if necessary.
- Solution 2: Gently wipe the mesh plate with a damp, lint-free cloth to remove any mineral buildup. After cleaning, run another cleaning cycle and ensure the nebulizer is fully dry before use.
