The Colostrum Collection Kit lets you collect early breast milk straight from your pump into a sealed container, so nothing gets wasted. You can store it, freeze it, or feed it later without transferring milk between containers.
The kit includes the adapter, collectors, labels, cleaning brush, and cloth. The Frida 2-in-1 Manual Silicone Breast Pump is required to use the adapter and is sold separately. The adapter works only with the Frida Colostrum Collector and the Frida 2-in-1 Manual Silicone Breast Pump, and it’s compatible with all Frida flange sizes (21mm, 24mm, 27mm).
All parts are reusable when cleaned and sanitized between uses. The collectors can be stored in the fridge or freezer once sealed. For best results, freeze them upright. The storage case is for holding unused collectors, plus the brush and cloth. It’s not meant for freezing.
Each collector comes pre-sterilized, with an expiration date printed on the wrapper. Before that date, no sterilizing is needed. After that, or before reusing, you’ll need to sterilize it. Follow the care instructions in the folio for cleaning and sanitizing steps.
If the adapter doesn’t fit tightly, we’ll replace it for free under warranty. If you’re having trouble getting suction with the manual pump and adapter, double-check that everything is assembled correctly and refer to the manual pump instructions.
For labeling, use a felt-tip permanent marker like a Sharpie. What you write on the label depends on where you’re bringing the colostrum. Check with your medical care team for any specific requirements.
